PLOT

REVIEW

In my last review I had already mentioned to you the fact that I am not a big fan of small-town romance but in this last period I felt that I had to give this genre of novels a second chance. And after reading Meet Me in Ivy Falls, I am so glad I made that decision.

Torran and Beck are two really well-characterized protagonists with a complicated past but also a great desire to redeem themselves. And what better place for a new beginning than Ivy Falls?

I loved the descriptions of this small Tennessee town, it really seems like a magical place.

The thing that struck me most about this story, though, is that despite all the major issues that are dealt with, the broken hearts and the need for revenge, Amy True managed to keep the tone light throughout the novel.

Because, as Torran and Beck teach us, even in difficult times and after many disappointments one can still rediscover the beauty of loving someone.
