She'd manipuleted me, just the way she used to, despite my determination not to let her. Come what may, I wasn't going to let her do it again.

Naomi thought she had it all figured out: a gorgeous husband, adorable twins and a monthly cocktail catch-up with her three best friends. But when Zara, the fifth member of their once inseparable Girlfriends' Club, resurfaces with a bombshell secret, Naomi's carefully balanced life is turned upside down.
As Zara's revelations send shockwaves through the group, the once lively WhatsApp chat falls silent and Naomi finds herself sitting at home instead of sipping margaritas with the women who know her best. As old wounds are opened and loyalties are questioned, Naomi must confront the cracks in her marriage and the truth about her past. Can the Girlfriends' Club weather the storm, or will Zara's return tear them apart for good?
REVIEW
Scandals, gossip, suspicions, and secrets that must be kept.
These are the elements that kick off the plot of Sophie Ranald's The Fall-Out, a fresh, engaging, electrifying novel that captures you from the first few chapters.
As this is the fourth volume in a series - the Girlfriend's Club series - and not having read the previous 3 books, I was a bit afraid that I would not be able to fully understand the story, the relationships between the main characters - Naomi, Rowan, Kate and Abbie - and that I would miss some references. But this was not the case; in fact I went on reading the more I became convinced that The Fall-Out can be read as a stand-alone.
If you are looking for a story that celebrates friendship, intriguing and with brilliant and humorous female protagonists you should definitely read The Fall-Out.
I sincerely thank Sophie Ranald and Storm Publishing for their trust and for giving me the opportunity to read the novel in advance.
