Sophie Ranald's latest novel "The Love Hack" is out now! - ARC review
And I've learned something, Greg. I've learned that sometimes men – Adam's readers, that is, not necessarily all men – need gentle guidance, a hug and a handhold. And sometimes they need tough love and to be told when they're being dicks.

REVIEW
Good morning readers, today I am telling you about a brand new release that I had the pleasure of reading in advance: The Love Hack by Sophie Ranald.
The Love Hack is an office romance featuring Lucy and Ross.
Lucy is a "journalist" who writes for the "Ask Adam" column in which she gives relationship advice to men, but don't be fooled, when it comes to our protagonist's love life ... well, it's not all that eventful: instead of going out clubbing, she likes to spend her weekend evenings relaxing on the couch with her cat Astro - whom I adore - and having marathons of TV series on Netflix. She is perfectly comfortable in her quiet life and everything runs smoothly until Ross arrives at the office. And Ross is not only a capable and very charming journalist but he is also charismatic and manages to lift Lucy's spirits simply by his presence and his silly jokes.
But Lucy has a firm and unquestionable rule: we do not fall in love with office colleagues. Under no circumstances. And that won't be a problem at all because Ross is not even single.
But those hazel eyes that keep looking at her from the other side of the computer while she writes about relationships do not help her stay focused on her responsibilities. If nothing else, she can try to keep her mind busy by managing the hundreds of e-mails in her inbox, which is literally about to explode as "Ask Adam" has gone viral. But when she gets an email that appears to be written by her new crush, not even her AI assistant can answer the countless questions in her mind.
Despite my current obsession with field hockey romances even office romances have a special little place in my heart. And The Love Hack is no exception.
It reminded me a lot of Sophie Kinsella's novels-with their stories full of misunderstandings and awkward female protagonists who are easy to become attached to precisely because of their spontaneity and genuineness-with a dash of Sally Thorne's The Hating Game.
The only things I would have changed about this novel are some of Lucy's inner monologues in the second half of the novel, I would have shortened them a bit but maybe it was just my desire to see Lucy and Adam together talking again. I highly recommended! I hope it will be translated here in Italy as well!
Thanks again to Storm Publishing and Sophie Ranald for the ARC copy!
